About Meredith
University applicants and architecture students frequently arrive in my space looking for clarity. I help people build a foundation. My work centers on SketchUp, AutoCAD, and sustainable design principles, alongside teaching the intricacies of building materials and site analysis.
With 6 years of experience, I have guided 389 students through the complexities of spatial reasoning and architectural history. My MEng from Georgia Tech informs how I explain structural logic within 3D modeling and floor planning.
I balance technical precision with the creative freedom required for high level model making. I enjoy discussing how early design choices affect the final building form. Usually I like to frame our time together around a weekly design challenge with critique to keep your skills sharp and your perspective broad. Because I hold an MEng in Civil Engineering, I tend to emphasize how physical site constraints and material properties must inform your creative choices, which helps students move past purely aesthetic decisions to something that could actually be constructed.
We shift between building technical proficiency in software and understanding the conceptual weight of your layouts, ensuring that your portfolio projects are both visually striking and logically sound. Whether you are a beginner or an A-level design student, we examine your floor planning and 3D models with a level of rigor that mirrors professional practice.
I prefer that we explore these architectural concepts in a way that respects your existing intuition while pushing it further into professional territory. You can expect us to spend time analyzing how historical precedents or sustainable strategies might resolve the specific problems you face in your current project. It would be a pleasure to look at your current sketches and see where we might start.
