About Ann
I have been teaching swing dancing for the last 12 years in local classes in my towns of residence (Toronto Canada, Lausanne Switzerland, and Champaign Illinois). I have also travelled the world (South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Vietnam, Germany, France, and Russia) for teaching dance. I have travel even more places as an international swing dance DJ for major dance events.

When teaching, I tackle the same topic through visual, auditory and tactile demonstrations. Getting partners to work through a set of moves and how to transition between them before regrouping and discussing the fundamental concepts of the movements. The goals are always clear from the start of the class and are thoroughly threaded throughout the class. Analogies are given to give students a mental grasp on concept that they could be challenging to put into words.
