About Min-Hsuan
I am a native Taiwanese Mandarin speaker living in Canberra. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and sharing everyday life through language. I have lived in Singapore for three years and also spent time studying Japanese in Japan, which helped me understand what it feels like to learn a new language from the beginning and adapt to different learning environments.
Before moving to Australia, I ran a small restaurant in Taiwan, where I regularly communicated with customers from various backgrounds. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills and a natural, practical approach to language use. I also organized language exchange events, which made me realize how much I enjoy helping people connect through conversation.
I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence through real conversation practice. My lessons focus on helping you express yourself naturally in Mandarin and improve step by step through speaking, listening, and guided feedback, so you can use Chinese more comfortably in real situations.
My goal is to make learning Mandarin feel natural, enjoyable, and connected to real communication and cultural understanding.

Lessons are usually 60 minutes and include conversation practice, useful vocabulary, pronunciation support, and gentle corrections to help you sound more natural.
