About Tan
Despite his busy schedule, he still finds time to attend seminars and workshops to improve the quality of piano playing and teaching for the benefit of his students. Mr. Tan also explores jazz and mandarin pop music. He also plays the trumpet.

Mr. Tan graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) Psychology in the Arts (Music) in Education, Performance and Wellbeing from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, one of the prestigious four Royal Schools in UK under ABRSM Examination title. He also holds a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM), UK in Music Performance Piano and has been a qualified piano teacher for over 20 years in Singapore where he has an extremely busy school and private practice of students from beginner to diploma level across different age groups. Mr. Tan currently teaches privately and does piano accompaniment regularly with different instruments for both performances and examinations as well as some classroom teachings for advanced level music theory. He also has experience in working with church choir and was also a former tutor with Ossia Music School and Cristofori Music School.
