About Ivy
Raised in and around SF and the greater Bay Area, I grew up tap dancing at Footloose Dance Center in the SF/Bay Area. As a young adult, I began my dance teaching career. I taught lessons here in the SF/Bay Area and continued teaching as I traveled around the U.S. and eventually around other parts of the world. My greatest Tap Teacher memory is when I had the good fortune to be included in the Beloit College Alumni dance troupe which invited me to travel to Tanzania, Africa where I had the incredible opportunity to teach a vibrant group of eager young students some American Rhythmic Tap Dance - amazing!

Perfect! I enjoyed the class with Ivy, As a beginner, I appreciate that she took the time to go through the basics and foundation of tap dance. She also made sure I have the correct formation to help with balance. She answered any questions I have. Looking forward to more classes with Ivy,
