About Mridula
Hello! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering & Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Having successfully cleared one of the toughest competitive exams in the world - IIT-JEE, I can understand the challenges students face while preparing for competitive exams.
Helping students in a part-time capacity even while pursuing my college education and also later on working as a software developer, I felt a call to become a full-time tutor since I was passionate about helping motivated young people in their academic goals.
Understanding the challenges students face, I’m dedicated to providing as much support as possible.
I have had both ACT and SAT students achieve scores in the 99th percentile.
I’m a full-time tutor, and I try to make sessions clear, comfortable, and easy to follow. Students should feel comfortable asking questions and saying when something doesn’t make sense.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of students with very different starting points and goals. Some need to rebuild important Algebra or Geometry skills, while others already have strong math foundations and want to improve their speed, accuracy, and overall score.

- Software Developer in Java, React, C#, C++
- Competitive Coder for 2+ years
- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)
- Excelled in International Olympiads- Math, Physics, Chemistry

How I function:
- Assessing the student’s current level and conceptual needs during initial meetings
- Developing a mutually agreed-upon learning schedule and future plan
- Scheduling sessions as often as necessary
- Providing feedback and monitoring progress during each lesson
- Applying test-taking strategies, such as simulating exam conditions and mastering use of Desmos graphing calculator
