About Randy
Randy Kopf | Instructor's Bio:
"I was born into a life of creation as my father owned a Neuroscience instrument business. I spent 35+ years as a CAD/CAM Subject Matter Expert in design and programming of advanced factory robotics. I’ve since been the subject of a few magazine articles. In 2014 I fell in love with metal art after seeing a chased Tiffany floral jar. I was told: “If you want to do great things, hang out with great people” by Eddie Bell of Rio Grande. Taking that to heart I selected a few key jewelry subjects and mentors to learn from.
I’ve subsequently spent weeks studying and later years applyIng knowledge from mentors Tomas Wittlesbach - ZBrsuh CAD | Ronda Coryell Argentium Fabrication | Maestro Acquafresca II - Chase and Repousè | Blaine Lewis - Stone Setting | Jason Marchiafava - Engraving. I am an official licensee for the M.C. Escher Foundation with my 3D ESCHER DRAGON. I run (concealed information) a hybrid Brick and Mortar / online store based in Denver. And I partner with (concealed information) a floral jewelry line in which I’m the exclusive designer. I hope to live to 100, if so… I’ve only just begun to live.

I’ll teach you how to develop a successful jewelry line. From start to finish and understand all elements needed from concept, layout storyboard, story in design, cohesive iterative design, technical elements using light to make visual interests across textures and surfaces. You will gain a strong understanding of proper elements of design with respect to producing pieces by various processes.
