About Ben
Education has been for me the single most transformative power. Decades of study have deeply changed me, and I have learned to apply critical thinking in nearly every avenue of my world. Because of this, I have continued to grow as a thinker, and continue to learn newer and greater truths with each passing day, and understand the world with greater clarity and insight. I am a committed, life-long student, and it is this that I believe gives me an edge as a teacher. As a great man of science once said, "I would rather have questions that I cannot answer, than answers which I cannot question." It is critical that we who seek to become the best versions of ourselves learn to enhance our minds. Learning to think critically, and learning to use critical analysis as a tool will give us all an edge in this fast-paced, rapidly changing world, and will set us on better footing to face tomorrow. Let me be your guide for this chapter, and I will do my very best to get you closer to your practical educational goals.

In my lessons, I use real-world examples to demonstrate the values of math and reason, and I strive to explain towards practical goals that will empower students to use their new found skills in their every day lives. Lesson plans will naturally vary in accordance with the specific needs of the student, along with their individual levels of familiarity. My extensive studies of the history of reason enable me to relate many of the functions of critical reasoning and math as tools for analyzing the world around us, and transforming concepts into results. I hold a masters degree in the study of History, and a Bachelor's degree in Analytic Philosophy. I am happiest when helping students to overcome their hesitancy toward thinking.
