About Nilaani
My name is Nilaani Kuruparan. Since primary school I have loved maths the most. I especially loved the way my maths teacher had taught me to make sure I understood the topics well. I have taken on these methods to teach my younger brother and he is currently doing well in maths too. I had went on to doing maths in A level which was very challenging but with specific revision techniques and exam questions I was able to do well. Now I am doing an accounting and finance degree which is going even further into maths and i'm currently enjoying it very much. My aim ambition is to be an accountant.

My techniques will be based on the exam board and curriculum. I will see what the students strengths and weaknesses are from ,and work from there, trying to build on their weaknesses to make sure they are able to do those questions in the exam. We will always do exam questions at the end of each session to make sure they have understood what they have learnt. Ask them what their target is and make sure we are able to achieve that target grade by exam time. Number of lessons a week is based on the students preference. I love teaching younger children doing their GCSE, I got a 9 in my GCSE maths and so I can definitely help other achieve a similar grade with the use of my techniques and tips.
