About Akshat
I have a six year experience of being a clinician. Being associated with a medical school, I've had the experience of teaching human physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology and medicine. As I have taught these four subjects, I have this inclination to link all these subjects while teaching, so that the pupil gets a holistic view of medicine, which helps him/her develop a better understanding of medicine. My approach is that I begin with an insight into the normal physiology and biochemistry of an organ system. I believe, when a student knows how the human body works normally, only then can he truly understand what really went wrong, so that the disease manifested. Also, having a background in teaching pharmacology, I have an understanding of the various mechanisms with which various drugs act. I believe that teaching in such a way provides real understanding of the subject, and discourages rote learning.
Meanwhile, I'm pursuing a degree of Doctor of Medicine, in the university of Chester.
