About Lewis
My name is Lewis, and I am a current 1st year Uni student studying music. I have played the piano since I was six, and have a deep love for the instrument (and music in general). Having tutored since January 2022, I know the best ways to help students achieve their goals, and can keep the lessons stress free and enjoyable. Vocally, I have experience helping teach an amateur production of “legally blonde” throughout 2022-2023. While not on a 1-1 basis, this gave me some great experience on how to work with lots of students, in which I could transfer these skills to a 1-1 basis. My love for music, piano and singing is deep rooted in my life, and I wold love to share this love further with others.

I have been a music tutor for around a year and a half. I strive to get the best out of my students by always pushing them to where I believe they won’t feel out of their depth, but they’ll also be subsequently challenged. I usually teach in 30 minute lessons, however hour long lessons would also be viable.My experience as a teacher has allowed me to tutor many different people of different ages, backgrounds and challenges. This has made me very proficient at changing the way I approach a lesson depending on the type of student I have to make sure they get the most out of it. My lessons are for everyone or anyone. I’m very used to teaching beginner level piano, however I have tutored for graded exams with great results. Vocals too are for anyone, wether that be for fun or wanting to do exams. Finally, I can teach music theory up to grade 5, and once again, this can be for anyone who wants to give it a go.

Lewis is a brilliant tutor with a wide range of teaching experience. He has such an amazing ability to accommodate to each and every learner. As someone with ADHD he was very patient with me and allowed me to learn both piano and singing in a positive yet challenging environment. I couldn't recommend his services enough. He is an incredible tutor, especially for beginners who may be nervous wanting to start something new.
