I am a part time teacher who teaches mathematics and physics. I have taught full classes in a school setting. I also have tutored many students in one on one sessions with students who have weaknesses understanding mathematical or scientific ideas and techniques.

My teaching method revolves around getting students to fully understand what they're attempting to do/learn. I find that most of the time when a student says they don't understand something it's because they've not had a full and proper explanation of the topic leading to confusion further down the line.
My lesson structure is as follows:
- Topic (chosen by you) introduction and discussion to establish understanding. This can sometimes be the majority of the lesson as it is a crucial step.
- Example questions, demonstration of technique.
- I walk you through some questions that you do.
- Practice questions with support.
- Extension learning if there is extra time.
