As a tutor, I adopt a flexible, student-centered approach that adapts to each learner’s needs and learning style. I combine multiple teaching methods, including interactive discussions, visual aids such as flashcards and PPTs, hands-on experiments, and real-life examples, to make abstract concepts tangible and engaging. Conversational methods are integrated to encourage critical thinking and ensure comprehension, while study documents and guided exercises reinforce learning outside of class.
A typical lesson begins with a clear objective and brief review of prior knowledge, followed by interactive explanations of new concepts, practice exercises, and application through examples or experiments. Lessons end with a summary and a Q&A session to consolidate understanding. Materials are customized to the student’s level, pace, and goals.
What sets me apart is my ability to make complex scientific ideas accessible and exciting, my commitment to adapt methods for different learning styles, and my experience in teaching multiple science subjects with clarity and patience.
I teach biology, chemistry, and general science to middle school, high school, and early college students, including those preparing for exams or seeking enrichment.
