About Вера
My name is Vera, and I am based in Kyiv. I am a university lecturer working at two universities, with over 28 years of teaching experience (since 1998). I teach Russian as a Foreign Language and, since 2019, Ukrainian as a Foreign Language.
I specialize in a non-translation, step-by-step teaching method that helps students naturally acquire the language by moving from simple to more complex structures. My lessons are clear, structured, and focused on real communicative progress.
I hold a PhD in Education, with a dissertation dedicated to methodologies of teaching Russian and Ukrainian as foreign languages. This allows me to combine strong academic expertise with practical, effective teaching techniques.
I work with students of all levels, helping them achieve confidence in speaking, understanding, and using the language in real-life situations.
