About Hayley
My name is Hayley and I have a passion for wanting students to excel and to reach their goals within education.
I have been teaching science in schools for 2 years but have found since a young age that I love supporting individuals. I was a volunteer maths mentor whilst studying at university as well as mentoring students in lower years of secondary school whilst in 6th form.
I have always had a strong passion of science and wish to impart my knowledge and love of this subject to others.
I have worked with individuals with SEND and completed CPD relating to supporting and adapting lessons for students of all abilities within lessons throughout my teaching career.

I have a degree in forensic investigation and PGCE Teacher of Science (chemistry specialism). I was also a maths mentor whilst studying at university to support fellow classmates to boost their maths skills within our course.
I have previously been a tutor for a year 11 triple science student and have supported them in both chemistry and biology topics at their choosing.
My approach whilst tutoring is to spend a portion of the time going over topic information, then giving individuals exam-styled questions near the end of the session. This will then be marked between us and discussions on where marks could have been gained/lost.
