Are you frustrated with teachers who can solve endless examples presented in class without EXPLAINING the HOW and WHY (especially the WHY!) in the steps used to solve the examples?
As a VERY busy teacher/tutor (I work with approximately 60 students/semester) I have found that explaining math boils down to 3 basic rules: teaching students how to READ math, teaching students fundamental RULES of algebra and most importantly... allowing students to make endless mistakes along the way! It is OK to make mistakes when learning math, the important thing is that you LEARN from your mistakes as you move forward.
