About Bianke
I have been in the field of teaching for the past seven years. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Foundation Phase Teaching from Nelson Mandela University. I have taught children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years of age in both English and Afrikaans. I am currently working at a school for children with special needs, where I have been for the last 5 years. In 2023 I was awarded the National Teaching Awards 2nd Provincial Position in the category Excellence in Special Needs Teaching. I believe in empowering others through knowledge and have a deep rooted passion for teaching. I am experienced and qualified in remedial education, special needs teaching and language development.

I am proficient in English and Afrikaans. I am qualified to teach in both of the above mentioned languages. I believe in breaking down the more complex concepts and working hard on each of the necessary steps to consolidate and ensure comprehension. I teach with kindness, compassion, patience and dedication. My lessons will depend on each student's learning style and strengths. I aim to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible. My lessons are aimed at students between the ages of 6 and 13, as well as students who are learning the English language for the first time.
