About Helen
I am a current high school graduate who is planning to pursue tertiary study next year. I am an Australian with a Chinese background, so I am extremely fluent in both English and Chinese. My passion for Chinese began from a very young age, where I started learning Chinese at age 4, continuing all the way into my high school years where I studied Chinese in context. As a young person, I have a deep understanding of popular culture, and therefore able to have conversations about new and emerging phenomena.

Through having informal conversations, one will be able to accumulate vocabulary and gain insight into Chinese culture. Lessons would typically run for half an hour to one hour. My experiences studying the Chinese in context course during my hsc and HSK (Chinese proficiency exam) qualification would enable me to host engaging and informative lessons for beginning and intermediate Chinese speakers. Ultimately, these lessons are designed to be somewhat informal and relaxed, so students can study and appreciate Chinese without pressure.
