About Katherine
I earned my MA in English literature in 2010 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. My focus is Women's Literature, but I have a great background in both American (mostly modernism) and British (Victorian) literature as well. I love dissecting and analyzing texts and would love to help cultivate that skill in others, as it is one that will carry you in other aspects of life. My lessons will be more conversation-led, letting students get used to leading discussions on their own.

Before setting up a lesson with me, we will go over any specific works you need help covering, being it for a class project or for future exams. If you need a more general approach to American, British, or Women's literature, I will create a personalized lesson plan to cover all your needs.
These lessons are for middle school or high school students, looking to improve their comprehension and knowledge of literature, both for current classes and for college prep.
