About Lynn
I have worked with students in classrooms and individually for over 25 years. The exact number of students is difficult to state, but the number is in in the mid-hundreds.
I have taught many students how to write essays/research papers, etc., comprehend what they are reading, and learn test-taking skills and how to study for tests. I have seen students' grades improve from C/C-/D+ to A's and B's. I have helped immigrants obtain citizenship and get better jobs. I have also helped students write essays for college acceptance.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a major in advertising and a minor in marketing that I received from the University of Georgia. In addition, I have a master's in liberal studied from Ft. Hays St. University and a concentration in ESL. I have worked primarily with high school and adult students. Because I work one-on-one with students, every study plan is designed for each particular person. I teach skills that help with reading comprehension, but in my current job, my emphasis is on helping students to learn how to write a high school/college level paper, step-by-step, beginning with the selection of a topic, creating a thesis sentence, and writing a hook.
I KNOW that everyone can learn how to write. Not everyone can be an author, but everyone can write.
My grammar skills are well honed, and I love teaching grammar. Any one with a knowledgeable grasp of correct grammar is destined to do well in any business environment.
