About Laura
I am a substitute teacher at the moment as I just finished my Masters in Elementary Education. For the past ten years I have been a nanny, babysitter, tutor, teacher etc. I love watching the growth over time and believe everyone is capable they just have to be taught in a way that interests them. I believe it is important to also take brain breaks and not overwhelm yourself. Believe in yourself, because you are capable of anything you put your mind to - it just sometimes takes a bit of outside support!

My lessons are based on student interests. I take the first bit of an initial lesson to get to know the student, interests, learning style, etc and use that to cater to your needs. I try to make it fun and make sure you fully understand something and assess your knowledge to make sure you can do it on your own!
