About Allison
Throughout my 14 yrs of teaching, I have established a strong sense of professionalism. This has been demonstrated in parent/ teacher conferences, tracking growth and sharing the information with a team of colleagues to ensure the correct steps are being taken to meet the needs of all students in my care. I am a big believer in collaboration. I will always strive to do my best to provide the best education, even trhough communicating within the education community for ideas and as asound board.

-The teaching method that I focus on is building confidence through mindfulness practices and play style activities.
-A typical lesson would start with breathing exercises to calm the mind, a review of previous skills, short practice with those sills and then an introduction to new material.
-My goal as an educator is to not only teach the foundations of reading and math but to instill a healthy foundation for flexible thinking and mindfulness.
-The lesson are geared towards students of any age that is in need of strenghtening the foundations of phonemic awareness, phonics, etc.
