About Isaac

Hello, and welcome! My name is Isaac, and I specialize in teaching foundation-level Chemistry with a focus on building strong, lasting understanding. With a background in Foundation in Science and over 3 years of tutoring experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping many students gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed in science.

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques and Methodology
My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, engagement, and confidence-building. I break down complex chemical concepts into simple, relatable explanations using everyday analogies. I incorporate visual aids, interactive tools, and regular practice questions to reinforce understanding. I also use active recall and spaced repetition techniques to help students retain information more effectively. Every lesson includes a short review of previous material to build continuity and reinforce core principles.

Typical Length of a Lesson
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, depending on the student's needs and attention span. This format allows time for concept explanation, interactive discussion, problem-solving, and brief assessment or recap.

Qualifications and Experience
I hold a degree in Foundation in Science and have 3 years of experience tutoring students at the high school levels. I’ve worked with a diverse range of learners, including those preparing for IGCSE, foundation year programs, and entrance assessments, tailoring my approach to individual learning styles and academic goals.

Target Audience
My lessons are designed for foundation-level students, typically ages 15 and above, including those in pre-university programs, high school transitions, or adult learners revisiting science fundamentals. Whether a student is struggling with basic concepts or aiming to strengthen their foundation for advanced studies, I adapt lessons to meet their specific needs and pace.
