About Arun
My name is Arun Nayakkar, and I am a high school student based in New York. I am a diligent and passionate student, a seasoned writer, an advocate of scholarship, and an aspiring lawyer. Some things about me: I am a national debate champion, mock trial attorney, editor-in-chief of a legal publication, president of a national organization dedicated to legal and political education, and have professional, first-hand experience researching and writing at law firms. I have a 4.0 GPA and take/have taken writing and history AP classes as well as pre-law classes at Columbia and Yale.

I teach a myriad of subjects in the humanities field including but not limited to: writing (essay, expository, poetry, research, argumentation, and creative), public speaking, and literacy. Along with side-by-side assistance with my students to help with any problems they may have, I am also available to edit, revise, or proofread any and all written works students may have. I am also willing to go over any notes/lessons for clarification and to confirm a student’s understanding. All of my lessons will cater to the student’s needs, and I am patient and willing with my teaching method. I charge $10/hour.
