In our education system we are asked to remember formulas but no maths and physics are the subjects where you should know the reason why this because there is no exception or fact in these two subjects . And once you be able to understand the concept you will definately love the subject . And yes in competitive exam you must know the concept instead of remembering facts and formulas .
