About Elias
I've taught medical physiology and tutored for the past three years. I have also tutored students in biology, anatomy, and microbiology. I love sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for science with others. I believe that science communication and engagement are essential skills for any scientist and educator. I enjoy creating interactive and engaging lessons that help students understand complex concepts and apply them to real-world situations.

As a tutor, I aim to share my knowledge and passion for science with my students. I use a variety of methods and techniques to help students understand and apply the concepts they learn in class. Some of these include:
- Providing lots of practice questions with step-by-step walkthroughs, so that they can see how to solve problems and learn from their mistakes.
- Simplifying complex topics using analogies, examples, and diagrams, so that they can grasp the main ideas and avoid confusion. I have a background in science communication, which helps me to explain things clearly and engagingly.
- Adapting to the needs and goals of each student, so that they can progress at their own pace and achieve their desired outcomes. I tailor my lesson plans according to their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and preferences.
- Encouraging questions and feedback, so that they can clarify any doubts and improve their confidence. I also give constructive and positive comments on their work, so that they can recognize their achievements and areas for improvement.
My lessons are suitable for high school and college students who are taking introductory courses in biology, physiology, and anatomy. I can help with homework assignments, test preparation, or general revision. I am finishing my bachelor's in medical science this semester and begin working on my master's degree in August 2023.
I believe that what sets me apart as a tutor is my enthusiasm, patience, and dedication. I enjoy teaching science and I want my students to enjoy learning it too. I am always ready to help them with any challenges they face and to celebrate their successes with them. I hope to inspire them to pursue their scientific curiosity and aspirations.
