About Iona
Hi there! My name is Iona, a Physics with Astrophysics and cosmology graduate with a passion for mathematics, the sciences and education! I am training to become a mathematics teacher through the Faculty of Education and Society at UCL and have been working as a teaching assistant for children of varying educational needs from Autism to ADHD as well as supporting students who just need an extra helping hand in their mathematics studies. I hope that with my knowledge and expertise, I could help support you in your studies and bring out the best in you. I can’t wait to hear from you and wish you all the best in your studies. My approach focuses on targeting the areas of weakness and working through practice questions from a range of sources (from the exam board you will be taking but also from other exam boards) to become familiar with all the different questions you could be asked about the topic and deepen your understanding of the topic. I will then make a mock exam paper full of questions from topics we have studied together to track our progress and make sure you are ready to take whichever exam you are preparing for.
