About Messiah
My name is Messiah. I am a full-time student at El Camino College, working toward my associate's degree in early childhood development, expected in Spring 2027. Then I will transfer to earn my B.A. in Liberal Studies while maintaining Dual Urban Enrollment Credentials, which include Multiple Subjects and Special Education. My goal is to become a middle school teacher and work toward a master's in educational leadership to become a principal. I have six years of experience as a private tutor, six years as a childcare provider, six years of internship, and two years as a teacher assistant. I want to create a tutoring business on the side during the summer. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 10 and started working with children at 14 during summers and the COVID period while in high school. I enjoy tutoring with my coffee or Bloom Nutrition. I am patient, empathetic, creative, and unique. I love iced coffee, horror movies, Disney, and teaching.

In this lesson, I want you to develop a love for writing and to use your creativity while remaining focused on the prompt topic. We will begin by brainstorming ideas, followed by drafting, and I will provide feedback on your drafts to support your final version. My goal is to ensure that writing remains a stress-free experience. Please feel free to bring a snack and a drink as you prepare to write. I will provide a template to assist with brainstorming and maintaining focus, as well as a list of transitional words for you to choose from, with my guidance. The use of similes and metaphors is required to enhance your creative writing. While creativity is encouraged, it is important to stay on topic. Together, we will review your work and identify areas for improvement. Remember, perfection is not the goal; instead, focus on expressing your imagination through writing. This is a supportive environment where I will not judge your work. I will conduct regular check-ins and provide an introduction to the lesson. I am committed to being fun, empathetic, and supportive throughout the process, and I will edit your rough draft before you submit your final draft.
