About Eugene
During my time in sixth form, I offered to help out GCSE students in lunchtime sessions. This allowed me to understand how students learn best and retain more knowledge. Whilst studying for my exams I was also able to find out what worked for me and what didn't. Then applying this to my lessons means my students feel more confident in their own ability and encourages them to work hard to achieve their full potential. Qualifications: GCSE (9,8,8,8,8,8,7,7,7,7) /A Level (A,A,B) / Core Mathematics AS (A)

When it comes to learning any subject, there are key aspects that must be followed in order for a student to succeed, these being the detailed covering of content, application of knowledge to exam questions and exam technique. In my lessons, each of these aspects is covered in depth so that the student can improve grades quickly and begin to take more interest in the subject itself. Creating a passion for a subject can lead to a student being more willing to work hard and achieve more.
