About Harvey
Hi, my name's Harvey, I am 18 and currently studying Mathematics and Economics in my first year at the University of Sheffield. I am originally from York and have been tutoring for 6+ Months. I enjoy watching my students gain confidence and become an incredible mathematician. I resonate with online tutoring as when I was 15 I received online tutoring to help me with mathematics. Furthermore that lead to me taking it at A-Level, due to my new found confidence within the subject and then University where I currently study it further.

Typical Session lengths of 60 to 90 minutes, very flexible with times and length of sessions, e.g. available for longer sessions before a test / exam. My lessons are for GCSE students (Year 11) and A-level students (Year 12 and 13)
I like to split my typical 60 minute sessions up accordingly:
~10 Minutes Reminder / warm up task
~40-50 Minutes Teaching with integrated and interactive questions throughout
~30-40 Minutes Practice questions
I found this split-up of the session works the best for my current student and helps with learning. Included in this time I can answer questions, easily and flexibly change topics to cater to students needs.
I like to priorities topics that students find difficulty and topics they are currently being taught in school to help there engagement with the topic for an exponentially increased likely of remembering the content.
My qualifications are receiving an A in Mathematics at A-level (70.3%), a 7 (an A) at GCSE.
