About Sophia
I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have taught Spanish and other languages for 20 years. I currently teach middle and high school Spanish and French and have also taught native heritage speakers at the public school level. I have worked as a professional translator and interpreter for over 12 years.

Language learning is based on input and output. I give you the vocab and structures to learn, thru interpersonal communication and grammar thru context lessons. My method is based on the “I do, we do, you do” idea where I give you examples, we work on them together, and then I support while you create your own language output. We practice building speaking ability and comprehension.
