About Barnaby
I'm Barnaby. I recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. I am currently studying a Masters in Environment Economics at UCL.
Having studied seven years of Maths, I know it would've been helpful to be taught not just the content, but also strategies to learn the content most efficiently. This is the value I aim to bring.

Whilst many maths problems can initially seem daunting, my approach is to break them down into their component parts, enabling the student to see which parts they do understand and which they specifically need to work on.
Teaching and reinforcing this strategy develops the student's ability to work efficiently in their own time.
Having gone from a U in my Maths A-Level mock exam to an A in the final exam before three years of degree level Maths (high 2:1), I have developed both the knowledge and skills to identify and address areas of weakness in order to maximise the potential of the student.
