About Tommy
I have absolutely adored math ever since I was 6 or so years old, and have aimed for maximum marks in the subject for every exam since. I achieved a H1 in both Math and Applied Math on my Leaving Cert, and am currently studying pure math and computer science in Maynooth. I really enjoy being able to help others understand the subject, it is just such a rewarding feeling!

I like to explain the reason why things work so students understand what it is they're doing rather than following a set of rules. I have found actually grasping what is happening is especially important for higher level. I have experience teaching, and I can teach Junior or Leaving Cert Math, for anywhere from 30-minute to 2-hour sessions.

He has helped me numerous times before the leaving cert with simple examples and detailed definitions. He puts time and effort into teaching someone else what he understands. I have achieved a H2 in my LC. Would recommend if you're trying to improve in Maths. If you do your part, Tommy will do his and you won't be disappointed.
He helped me not only pass my leaving cert, but achieved a H1 in maths, before I was barely getting a H7 but because of him, I passed with flying colours. He is an excellent tutor and mentor, I highly recommend him to anyone interested in higher level maths!
