About Steven
Hi, I'm Steven, a 17-year-old student in Temasek Polytechnic currently studying the diploma of Veterinary Technology! Some hobbies of mine include sports, playing video games and watching anime. I chose to teach Biology as I believe that biology is a very interesting and easy-to-master subject! It does not really need you to be good at other subjects to help you excel in this subject, and all it takes is some imagination and understanding. I got the inspiration of teaching from my father, who is a secondary school teacher. However, my ideology is that I do not want students to feel the need that after a whole day of school seeing their teachers, they come home and spend another hour or 2 with more teachers, or even at the weekends. With me, I hope I can bring less stress, and give your child a more encouraging and optimistic environment and energy to put in a bit more effort into brushing up biology!

Why you should choose me!
I learned Pure biology in secondary school, attended 2 years of biology tuition during my time in secondary school. Managed to secure an A2 for Prelims and a B3 for O levels.
- even though my results aren't the best, I am definitely able to help students that are just barely passing or those B to C grade students to improve their work
- I'm younger than a lot of tutors, so my classes would not feel like a teacher-student type of tutoring, but more of a friend-friend type of tutoring. This can also be less stressful for the students.
- I have tutored my friends for their O level Biology, and I have managed to help improve their Biology from an F9 to a B4 in 2 to 3 months time.
- I'm much more affordable than the other tutors, preferably around $20-25 range for an hour.
If all your child needs is a small push to make their grades increase to a better mark, need more visualization and understanding on the topic more, and for your child to want to look forward to tuition, I hope you can consider me as your child's tutor!
