About Anvika
I’m a voice coach with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera and 9 years of experience working with singers of all levels. My teaching centres around helping students find confidence in their voice, especially in spiritual and expressive styles like gospel and contemporary worship. Whether you're new to singing or stepping into leadership, I guide you in making an emotional and authentic connection with every song. I also teach Pop, Indie, and R&B with a strong focus on expressive technique. I work a lot with teen worship leaders and adult singers preparing for church performances. Breath control, vocal tone, and live presentation are things we train in every lesson. I focus on building singers who can lead worship clearly and connect with listeners sincerely. For those who are shy or have stage anxiety, I provide strategies for calm and focused performance. I use exercises in phrasing, dynamic shaping, and tone matching to bring each voice to life. Vocal health and sustainability are also top priorities. If you're preparing for a special worship night, audition, or recording session, I’m here to help. I teach singers how to sound their best in the studio with practical, hands-on training. My approach includes microphone technique, vocal projection control, and breathing methods specific to studio performance. We’ll practice with real session workflows to improve timing, consistency, and energy. I also introduce students to vocal layering, stacking harmonies, and adding texture without losing clarity. Effects like reverb and delay can enhance your sound—and I show you how to use them tastefully. We’ll talk about how to approach each take with intention. Studio etiquette is a major part of my lessons too, especially how to work with producers and engineers respectfully and efficiently. I’ve helped The Music Major refine their demo reels and guided The Suzuki Student into their first studio sessions. Each lesson balances artistry with focus and calm. Whether you're recording for an audition, school project, or personal album, you’ll be fully prepared. I help students understand the creative and technical sides of recording. We’ll build habits that make each take better than the last. You’ll gain confidence, control, and a polished studio voice. Let’s create recordings that truly reflect your artistry.
