About Imani
I am a high school student at Richview Collegiate Institute and I’ve been singing and playing various instruments for over seven years. I have performed at numerous venues, have released my music on a variety of musical platforms, and have been writing for years as well. I’m very exited to/passionate about helping youth achieve their dreams as well!

My goal as a tutor is to create an environnement in which the students feel confident in their ability and improvement! A huge part of music and performance is being sure of yourself, and to do that you need someone to offer their guidance while simultaneously letting them know that they’ve got what it takes!
A typical class would consist of a vocal warmup (stretches vocal chords, preps voice, regulates breathing, expands range, etc.), style/song decisions, song practicing, and performance rehearsing (if wanted)!
This itinerary is very flexible and can very much be adjusted depending on the wants and needs of each student.
My classes will help students develop an ear for music, expand range, learn to project and sing with POWER, harmonize, improve pitches and runs, develop an understanding of musical theory, and more! In addition, if students are interested in learning how to write/compose/produce music as well, that is also offered!
