Hi, I’m Joshua! I’m currently studying BCom Law at Stellenbosch University. I’ve always loved language, and teaching English allows me to help others grow in confidence and connect more easily with the world around them. I started teaching because I enjoy working with people and seeing their progress over time. As a student myself, I understand how important it is to feel supported and motivated while learning something new.

As a TEFL-certified BCom Law student, my teaching approach is structured yet flexible, aiming to build confidence and real-world communication skills. I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them. My lessons are always tailored to the learner’s needs—whether that means improving fluency, sharpening business English, or strengthening grammar and vocabulary.
I teach in English and specialise in helping non-native speakers improve their confidence and clarity. Whether you’re preparing for interviews, wanting to speak more naturally at work, or just aiming to hold better conversations, I’ll meet you where you are and help you reach your goals.
In a typical lesson, students can expect a mix of speaking practice, targeted vocabulary, listening activities, and discussions based on authentic materials like articles or real-world dialogues. I also like to include engaging exercises to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
