About Irene

My name is Irene. I studied and worked in the UK and graduated in Business Law LLB.
I decided to leave the UK to experience teaching in China. I obtained my TEFL certification, flew to Dalian, China, and taught in two schools.
I use different methods to help students gain confidence and make it fun to learn English.
I love seeing the glow on the student's face and their confidence level grow as they learn.

About the lesson

The techniques I use are practical and I focus on pronunciation of the words. This is for those who want to gain confidence when they speak English.
I use pictures to encourage speaking confidence and to tell a story.
I am certified in TEFL and have taught at Dalian Maritime University and at a Private English School in Dalian. I teach both adults and teenagers, from zero knowledge of English to those who want to gain confidence in their speaking abilities.

I've known Irene for years now and she's a certified coach who has also spent time in the UK in her younger years. She will make sure you really understand what you need to learn. In terms of English fluency and proficiency, she's definitely way above average standards here in Malaysia!
