About Satema
My name is Satema Tarawally I am a tv producer with years of experience working in tv with credits from Netflix, BBC, channel 4, Hulu and more. I started my career in radio with a lunchtime radio show on London Reprezent radio before pivoting to television since then I have forged a career making documentaries covering topics from mental health to the history of housing. I have also worked with many well known faces from historian David Olusoga to comedian Munya Chuwawa. I am passionate about giving others the correct tools to navigate the industry. I come from the working class immigrant background and I have seen first hand how the industry isn’t always set up for new comers I hope to give all the skills to make those challenges easy to navigate.
