About Matthew
I am currently a data scientist at CSIRO working in big data analytics. My job involves dealing with statistics on a daily basis and analysing large data sets then communicating the results to non statisticians. This role has also prepared me to communicate complex statistical concepts to my students. I graduated 6 years ago from the University of Melbourne with a masters in computer science and statistics where I also lectured courses in machine learning and SPSS with R studio. I also lectured two units on statistics for psychology and the social sciences. Please feel free to reach out for an initial free lesson.

Each lesson is structured to focus on learning and take the form of a two way discussion rather than a one way lecture. The lessons can be face-to-face or online. I can offer lessons in person at the Victoria state library or may also be able to travel to your place (at an additional charge). I also offer lessons via Zoom or Skype. In the latter case there is no additional travel charge. I also prepare notes during the lesson which I can send to you after the lesson at no additional charge.
