About Vannessa
Currently working as an English teacher in an international school in Subang.
I am a university graduate with an education degree specialize in English. I was also an ex-Public Speaker during my school days. I began teaching English in 2020 as an online part-time tutor during the pandemic. The students that I have taught have improved in their language skills and did well in their exams. I usually provide progress updates to the students and the parents so that they are aware if there is any room for improvement.

I teach the English language for students ages 9-12, English Literature for ages 12-14, English as an Additional Language for international students (Beginner level), and Humanities for ages 11-12. I would usually get to know my students in the first session and ask their learning expectations and goals in order to build a teacher-student rapport. Before teaching them, especially the English language, I will give them a sample assessment to see their proficiency level. As for other subjects like English Literature and Humanities, I would love to impart my knowledge to my students with tips and techniques that would help them understand the subjects and the topics effectively. I also provide Public Speaking training for those who need to improve their speaking skills. My lessons are typically one hour with 5 minutes brain break. Classes are conducted on Saturdays.
