About Nurul
As a TESL lecturer, I am dedicated to helping and guiding students in building their confidence in English, especially in academic writing. Over the past 2 years, I have worked closely with students to help them write better by helping them improve their essay structure, grammar, and critical thinking skills. As a writer myself, I understand how challenging it can be, especially in expressing ideas clearly and effectively. I believe learning English should be structured, practical, and empowering, hence my goal is not only to help students excel in exams but to also develop their skills that will support them in their academic journey.

I am a TESL lecturer with 2 years of experience teaching English at tertiary level and 1 year of experience as a private tutor. I specialise in academic writing, exam preparation (SPM and MUET), and helping students develop strong grammar, structure and critical thinking skills.
My lessons are structured, student-centred and tailored to individual needs. I focus on building clarity, confidence and practical writing techniques that students can apply in school and university assessments. Each session typically lasts 1–2 hours, depending on the student’s goals.
I teach upper primary, secondary and university students in Selangor, particularly those who want to improve academic writing, essay structure and examination performance.
