About Rosalie
I bring over eight years of teaching experience and a BSc in Physics with Philosophy to my tutoring. My focus is on helping middle school students grasp the basics of forces and motion. I use hands-on experiments, like building balloon rockets or testing friction, to make learning active. These activities show how physics is part of everyday life. I also connect lessons to sports, roller coasters, and playground experiences. This makes learning both fun and relatable. I know that students often find physics confusing at first, so I give clear explanations and plenty of support. I use problem-solving exercises to help students apply their understanding. My lessons are designed to nurture curiosity and confidence. Questions are always encouraged, and mistakes are treated as part of learning. Over time, students build both understanding and excitement. I believe physics can be a joyful subject when taught creatively. My goal is to make it engaging, relatable, and easy for every learner.

I believe physics should always be linked to how it is used in real life. My lessons are relaxed and focused on application, especially in engineering. Materials science examples show how properties like strength and heat resistance affect design. I also bring in fluid dynamics through turbines, aerodynamics, and everyday water systems. With statics and dynamics, I highlight how structures carry loads and resist forces. These connections make physics more engaging and clear. I encourage students to solve problems creatively and ask lots of questions. My teaching emphasizes understanding, not memorization. Each session is a step toward applying knowledge in practical contexts. For future teachers or computational physicists, I also provide strategies for clear explanation and modeling. Learners grow in both confidence and ability as they see physics in action. I support them in connecting theory with practice. Let’s make physics relevant to your engineering career.
