About Ayoola
My name is Ayoola Olu-Davies, and I am deeply passionate about education, social reform, and helping others reach their full potential. I believe that learning should be both challenging and rewarding, and my goal as a tutor is to make complex subjects accessible, engaging, and confidence-building for every student I work with. I take a student-centred approach, adapting my lessons to the individual’s learning style and pace. I break down difficult topics into manageable steps, encourage discussion, and use real-world examples to bring ideas to life. By combining patience, structure, and encouragement, I create a learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and capable of achieving their goals. Beyond academics, I have organised charity events, taught children learning English to read, and regularly attend court hearings to broaden my understanding of the legal system. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, resilience, and ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, practical way.

I use a student-centred approach, meaning I adapt lessons to each learner’s strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning style. I break down complex topics into smaller, manageable steps, using real-life examples and analogies where possible to make learning more engaging. I also encourage active participation through questioning, discussion, and practice tasks, as this helps students build confidence and independence. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I can adjust this to 45 or 90 minutes depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I usually divide lessons into three parts: a quick recap of previous material, focused teaching and practice on the main topic, and a short review or reflection at the end. 3. Qualifications and Experience I have studied A levels in Philosophy, History, and Law-related work experiences with leading firms such as JMW Solicitors and A&O Shearman. I also have experience teaching children to read, tutoring peers, and delivering presentations on complex subjects. My background has given me strong analytical, communication, and teaching skills, which I bring into every session. My lessons are suitable for secondary school and sixth form/college students (generally ages 11–18) who want to build confidence, improve exam skills, or deepen their understanding of subjects such as History, Philosophy, or Law-related topics. I also support younger learners who need help with reading, comprehension, or study skills.

She is a very patient and kind tutor who would go to the ends of the earth to help people understand the content. 10/10!
Ayoola is an Amazing, professional tutor. She made learning so enjoyable and helped me understand even the trickiest topics. I saw a big improvement in my grades after working with her. I have even recommend her to my classmates who were also struggling, her method of tutoring just makes everything easier and more coherent and clear.
She is on time and focused during tutor sessions, and adapts her explanations to each person who she tutors to fit what type of learning works for them
