Hi there! I have a Phd in Clinical Psychology from UCLA and love tutoring and mentoring students at all levels and in all domains of psychology.

About Megan
I recent graduated with my PhD in Clinical Psychology from UCLA where my research focused on how we can improve mental health in people diagnosed with cancer. I hold a minor in quantitative psychology and was trained in advanced statistical analysis as part of my degree. I attended NYU for my undergraduate education and majored in psychology with a minor in child and adolescent mental health studies. I am now working as a post-doctoral resident at a local hospital where I am conducting clinical work and research within our primary care and behavioral sleep medicine clinics. I love mentoring more junior students - whether that is to provide tutoring on specific coursework or test preparation (e.g., Psych GRE), or to provide support and guidance on graduate school applications. I have spent several years as a teaching assistant for various courses in psychology ranging from Introduction to Psychology, to Abnormal Psychology, to Neuropsychological Assessment. I would be thrilled to help you meet your psychology-related academic or career goals!

I have received rigorous training in many domains of psychology through my undergraduate work at NYU, and completion of my PhD at UCLA. I have extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level and am passionate about helping folks learn more about psychological concepts, the field of psychology, and about pursuing various forms or education and careers within psychology. I can cover topics ranging from Introduction to Psychology (Psych 101), to Clinical/Abnormal Psychology, to special topics such as Cognition, Social, and Health Psychology. I like to help people learn in ways that are most helpful to them - be that through quizzing/testing, pneumonic devices, or visual learning methods.
