I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in History and English, drawing on my academic background: I hold a BA in English from UCL and an MA in History of Art from The Courtauld Institute. I also achieved 4 A*s at A-Level and full marks in 10 iGCSEs. My approach is supportive, structured, and adaptable to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence through close reading, discussion, and clear essay planning techniques. I aim to help students not just memorise content, but truly understand how to shape arguments and write with clarity. Lessons are typically one hour, though I’m flexible depending on deadlines or revision needs. I also offer guidance with personal statements, proofreading, and refining coursework or written assignments.
