About Memory
Hi there! My name is Memory, and I’m an online English teacher, performer, and creative from the beautiful coast of Namibia. Growing up by the ocean shaped who I am — calm, curious, and always learning. The sea has always reminded me that growth comes in waves, and that’s the same energy I bring into my lessons. I’m also passionate about soccer and basketball, and I love using sports, music, and storytelling to make English fun and relatable for my students. If you are thinking about starting English lessons with me, I want you to know this: you are capable of growing, improving, and achieving more than you think. In my lessons, you never have to feel afraid or embarrassed. I create a space where you can be yourself, express your ideas, and learn at your own pace.

I love listening to my students — their goals, stories, fears, and dreams. Listening helps me understand exactly how to guide you, support you, and help you grow in the way that feels best for you.
My lessons are for beginner and intermediate students.
I’m naturally a shy person, but once I get comfortable, I become very talkative and warm. Many students tell me my calm energy makes them feel safe, and my friendliness makes lessons enjoyable and easy to follow.
What You Can Expect from Me
I am patient, clear, and supportive teacher who loves making lessons fun by using music, movement, games, conversation, and real-life situations. During my lessons mistakes are okay and progress is celebrated. Each lesson features a theme connected to world cultures and creative expression. The topics we cover encourage storytelling, opinions, sharing experiences, and learning natural English expressions. We will use articles, short videos, lyrics, and photos (all provided by me)
