About Robyn
Hi! My name is Robyn and I’m a second-year Childhood and Youth Studies student. I’m studying to become a teacher because I love helping kids learn and feel confident in school. I believe that every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to meet each student’s individual needs and learning style. Whether your child is a visual learner, needs extra time to grasp a concept, or thrives on more interactive activities, I adapt my methods to help them feel confident.
I use a mix of hands-on practice, visual aids, and simple explanations to make learning clear and engaging. For English, I focus on building strong reading comprehension, writing skills, and grammar through fun, relatable exercises. For math, I break down concepts step by step and use real-life examples to make abstract ideas more understandable.
A typical session includes a quick review of previous material, a focused lesson on a new topic, and practice activities to reinforce understanding. I always leave time for questions and make sure students feel comfortable expressing when they need help.
As someone studying Childhood and Youth Studies at Western University, I am passionate about the needs of children and have plans to go into teaching. My goal is for students to truly enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress.
I specialize in tutoring elementary and early middle school students (Grades 1–6) who need support in English or basic math. Whether your child needs ongoing help or just a boost in confidence, I’m here to support their journey.
