About Byron
I am a third year engineering student who is passionate about all things Mathematics. I have many years' experience learning about maths, physics, IT and engineering theory and design. I have previous experience tutoring students in high school and recently being an academic adviser at North-West university. I understand what it takes to be successful at both school and university levels, and am currently a golden key member in 2026. I also understand the impact that having someone who you can ask questions and explain concepts on a more personal level can have on academic performance. Especially when you are struggling to understand a teacher\ lecturer. I can provide an explanation from a different perspective, as someone who was recently in the same position.

As a current student finishing up my degree, I understand the requirements and pressures needed to succeed academically. I am also very experienced in preparing for examinations and knowing what study methods work best. Further I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English and can tailor lessons based on your preference. Lessons will typically focus on any problem areas, with one on one explanations. Once all relevant concepts have been explained, we will go through example problems and relevant questions. I also have practical experience and can explain how concepts are implemented in real life applications. Any students in high school or university looking to take their results to the next level are welcome.
