About Sandhya
I am a medical student at UCL, and I have studied maths, biology and chemistry to A-Level. The main reason I am tutoring is because I know how incredibly helpful tutors can be, when you find the right one.
I have tutored many students in maths and english of all levels, from year 1 to year 11, so I am very comfortable adapting my teaching style to a wide age range.
Having achieved a grade 9 has allowed me to understand what examiners are looking for more personally, which puts me in a great position to help you. All of my students have found a noticeable difference in their grades within months of learning with me, so I wish the same for you too!

I like to allow the student to direct the lesson. I know for me personally, I hate having to just listen to information and I would much rather be tested, otherwise I’d fall asleep! So active learning is a major part of how I teach, as well as breaking down information into simple language, which works wonders.
